George has enjoyed being in the kitchen since the age of three.  Many of George's recipes date back to that time in the kitchen with his mother and grandmother.
 
In 1975 a close friend of George called on him to cook for his  daughter's wedding and that was  the beginning.  He helped cook at the first Santa Maria style BBQ held at the Elks Lodge in Santa Maria, California.
 
Since that time George has continually improved his dry rub spices. George has been catering
Tri Tip, Ribs, Chicken and various other  main course menus  since moving to Castaic, California in 1985 and  starting up his barbecue catering in earnest.  
 
Today, serving the entire west coast from Washington to Arizona, George's Barbecue Catering has created a west coast tradition with his flame-grilled Ribs, Steaks, Tri Tip and Chicken, all cooked over red oak for ultimate flavor. Yes, our beloved Chef George is still proudly working the barbecue grill along with his professional servers.   George's Barbecue Catering uses all of the basic guidelines to create an environment where all your guests feel welcomed, comfortable, relaxed and rewarded.
